Product Demonstration - Benchtop SEM

The NeoScope benchtop scanning electron microscope from Nikon/JEOL is a powerful SEM with magnification up to 60,000x and is as simple to operate as a digital camera. Whether used by trained electron microscopists as a simple screening instrument, or by lab technicians as a higher resolution alternative to the light microscope, the compact NeoScope accelerates the pace of research in geology and geoscience.

We currently have a demonstration system available to try in your laboratory. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and arrange to try the system. Download the brochure.

NEWS FLASH - This unit will be available for sale at a reduced price for delivery in December 2015. Contact your local salesperson for more information.

New Stereomicroscopes
Enhanced Optical Performance

Nikon is pleased to announce the release of three new stereomicroscopes. The SMZ1270, a stereomicroscope with the largest zoom ratio in its class, the SMZ1270i offering motorisation of some components, and SMZ800N with improved optics and ease of use.

With their newly redesigned optics and advanced features, these new stereomicroscopes provide incredible optical performance and enhanced operability, enabling researchers to carry out high-magnification, large-zoom-ratio imaging with ease. The clarity of the images and improved ease of use will benefit researchers. Download the brochure.

Advanced Polarised Light Microscopy

Nikon's Eclipse polarising microscopes are renowned for their ability to produce brighter, clearer, and higher contrast images. The Eclipse LV100 POL, available in diascopic and episcopic microscope illumination types, continues this tradition and offers a completely reengineered base for even easier operation. It also features an exclusive high-intensity halogen light source, which delivers brighter images, lower power consumption and less heat generation, thereby reducing the chance of heat-induced focus drift. EDAX Octane Plus SDD - Superior Technology for EDS Applications

EDAX recently introduced the new Octane Silicon Drift Detectors for their TEAM EDS analysis systems to be coupled with electron microscopes. The Octane SDD technology delivers high quality EDS data at high speeds without count losses that are common with other systems on the market.

The Octane Plus provides the best offering in the Octane range, with the perfect balance of superior quality and economic value. It allows a wide range of applications to be performed, such as materials science and geoscience analysis, simultaneous EDS and EBSD configurations and 3-dimensional EDS. In addition to superior hardware, EDAX also provide TEAM EDS Software Suite, which allows for optimal analysis of samples in a time sensitive manner with Smart Diagnostics and Smart Acquisition.

End users are no longer forced to choose between fast data and quality data; you can have both with the EDAX Octane series. Download the brochure.
