Epithelial Volt Ohm Meter

The next generation EVOM2 from WPI qualitatively measures cell monolayer health and also quantitatively measures cellular confluence. The unique electronic circuit of the EVOM2 and the included STX2 electrode detect the confluence of the cellular monolayer. When combined with WPI's Endohm chamber, the EVOM2 can also be used to perform more accurate quantitative measurements or lower resistance measurements like transendothelial electrical resistance measurements. 19th International Microscopy Congress IMC19

The Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Society invites you to attend the 19th International Microscopy Congress (IMC19) to be held from 9-14 September 2018 in the stunning new International Convention Centre (ICC Sydney) right in the heart of Sydney. The program will showcase exciting new developments in microscopy, but will also demonstrate the transformational role of microscopy in underpinning a range of physical and life sciences. Encompassing four main streams - Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Instrumentation and Techniques, and Frontier Issues - outcomes from IMC19 will send ripples across the microscopy community.

The Congress is your chance to meet and interact with the world's most inspiring and prominent plenary and invited speakers, who will present on various symposia topics including Structure and Function of Cells and Organelles; Metals and Alloys; Data Management (Storage, Processing and Sharing); and In-situ, Environmental and Time-Resolved Microscopies. World-renowned plenary speakers, Dr Misty Jenkins, A/Prof Jennifer Dionne, Prof Dan Shechtman, and Prof Zhiwei Shan will bring a wealth of microscopy knowledge as they represent Australia, Israel, United States and China. Over 1500 contributing authors will present their research and findings through a range of informational platforms, including digital posters and oral presentations.
