Coherent Astrella Ultrafast Ti:Sapphire Amplifier

Astrella and the new Astrella HE are next-generation, ultrafast, kHz amplifiers that are the first to combine industry-leading performance and industrialised durability. Manufactured to Coherent's rigorous standards usng advanced stress-testing techniques, the one-box Astrella system enables a wide range of demanding scientific applications and operating conditions, offering higher productivity and lower data acquisition costs. Astrella is ideal for ultrafast sepctroscopy, THz studies, femtosecond micromachining, etc.

The integrated, one-box design employs the new STAR regenerative amplifier module for increased energy, beam quality and stability. This is seeded by Coherents hands-free Vitara oscillator, and is powered by a new pump laser offering enhanced power overhead, stability and beam quality. The final, key sub-system is the advanced, sealed stretcher / compressor designed for superb dispersion compensation and durability.
