The new Andor Benchtop Confocal, BC43, is a revolutionary, small-footprint confocal that allows all laboratories in biomedical sciences, industry or elsewhere, to access an easy-to-use, high-quality system to suit their imaging needs. In this talk, Geraint will give a technical overview of BC43 as well as show beautiful imaging to illustrate the applications of the new Andor Benchtop Confocal.

Dr. Geraint Wilde attained a Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 1997 from the University of Southampton, UK, before holding a number of research positions. He focused on intracellular signalling and gene expression through live-cell imaging. Dr. Wilde eventually pursued a commercial career in microscopy and he joined Andor Technology in 2009, where he is now Product Manager for Microscopy Solutions.
