The COMPex F2 excimer laser from Coherent has been designed to extend the available wavelength range of the COMPex family, enabling conversion-free very short UV laser light at 157nm.
The laser consist of a sealed internal energy montior and a vacuum tight flange connection to safely adopt and purge the beam path - a prerequisite to operate at such low wavelengths.
As an alternative the COMPex F2 laser tube can be filled with ArF laser gas to achieve 193nm.
