Okolab Glass T Plate

Transparent and flat surface at controlled temperature


The Glass T Plate creates a warm and optically transparent surface perfectly flush with the microscope stage. It employs Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) coating to obtain uniform heating throughout the glass surface and a surface sensor to ensure the highest accuracy on temperature reading. The glass is chemically strengthened and protected by a rigid aluminium frame.

The Glass Plates require H401-T-Controller, which can control independently up to two devices.


  • Temperature range: from ambient to 60°C
  • Accuracy on specimen: ±0.3°C
  • Specimen temperature within ±0.3°C, if room temperature remains within ±0.1°C
  • ITO glass coating ensures uniform glass heating
  • Glass thickness: 0.5mm (for inverted microscopes) 1mm (for upright microscopes)
  • Aluminium frame improves rigidity
  • Chemical glass strengthening ensures highest resistance
  • Easy plate replacement, if necessary
  • External T-sensor (included)
  • On-board Data logging and download routines to USB drive
  • On-board logging of calibration and alarm events
  • Alarm buzzer and External Alarm Connector
  • Self calibration routines allow to improve temperature accuracy
